Robertson Schools nutrition services launch Purity pilot, score high
The Tennessean

A regional first was introduced during the meeting, when Robertson County Schoolsâ Nutrition Supervisor Patsi Gregory, in concert with Purity Dairies, rolled out a first-of-its-kind-in-Middle-Tennessee program, allowing cafeteria managers to place their dairy orders directly with Purity Dairies via new software and the internet.Purity Territorial Sales Manager David Hall said there were a number of reasons for introducing the program, but getting correct and more accurate orders submitted and confirmed in real-time was a primary incentive.Hall said the companyâs home office in Texas initiated the program, and that while theyâve already worked with several high-volume clients in Tennessee, Robertson County Schools is the first school district to utilize it in the region.âThis simplifies the whole process of ordering,â he said, noting that it helps to ensure a greater degree of accuracy and inventory control.
