Commercial Weight loss Programmes Better Than GP Consultations


A Birmingham University research has concluded that commercial weight loss programmes are far more effective than GPs advised diet in regard to lose weight.It has also been revealed that not only one would drop his dress size but would also add one more year to his life span. As per the research, if one would lose seven pounds, he would add 12 more months to his age.The main finding of the research was to reveal the benefit of weight loss programme, as it was found that not only programmes like Weight Watchers, Slimming World and Rosemary Conley are cost effective but are also the ones, which give desired result.The British Medical Journal (BMJ) published research has recommended that instead of wasting money on the consultation fee of the NHS doctors and dieticians, they should rather utilize the amount by registering to commercial weight loss programme.
