Dr. Hayden Thomas from the Chiropractors Association said it has been seen in a number of studies that physical activity and balanced diet are vital for maintaining mental health.Thomas was talking about the deteriorating mental health condition of New Zealanders. Citing the reason for the same, Thomas affirmed that lack of exercise and ignorance for not taking proper diet was a key reason.Thomas affirmed, "Not only is our physical health being eroded but our mental well being is also being compromised by poor lifestyle choices, stress, tension, and reduced spinal function". Thomas said they have been witnessing in their day career that more number of people have been witnessing the problem of depression.
